
My name is Allie Kostiuk and I am a sessional instructor for the University of Victoria in the East Kootenay Teacher Education Program located in Cranbrook, BC. I have a Master of Educational Technology degree from UBC as well as a Bachelor of Education degree from UVIC.
I currently teach:
EDCI 336: Technology and Innovation in Education
EDCI 402: Reading – Instructional Principles & Strategies
I am also a Field Advisor for:
Year 2: 3-week co-teaching practicum
Year 3: 6-week practicum
Year 4: 10-week practicum
In addition, I have teaching experience in both School District #5 (Southeast Kootenay) and School District #6 (Rocky Mountain) in grades 1-3 as well as K-5 music. I am passionate about educational technology, literacy, and environmental education.
